On Thursday 5 October 2023, we are holding an open evening for prospective parents and students. Visitors will be able to tour our newly opened high tech Design and Technology building, and learn more about our emphasis on providing a consistent teaching team and fostering an environment of good behaviour and academic achievement.
We believe that by investing in our staff and facilities, we set children up for success both academically and socially.
With behavioural issues in the classroom diminishing year-on-year, a reward system has now been introduced for pupils who champion the school’s values of being respectful, positive, hard-working and successful. We are strongly focussed on raising academic standards, while giving our students the security and support they need to truly engage with the curriculum and reach their potential.
Our open evening offers parents the opportunity to meet teachers and current pupils, learn more about the curriculum and enrichment activities, sample some lessons, and discover why our school is the right choice for their child’s secondary education.
As well as showing guests around and answering questions, our Combined Cadet Force (CCF), will also perform a drill demonstration.
